Production Supervisor

Job Title: Production Supervisor
Location: Horicon, WI
Duration: 24 months with possible extension

Role Overview
Responsible for leading and supervising production employees to ensure departmental and organizational goals are consistently achieved. This role represents the company's commitment to integrity, safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Promote a fair and inclusive work environment through clear communication, regular feedback, and team support.
Oversee first-shift assembly operations to drive safety, quality, and productivity targets.
Lead onboarding, training, and development efforts to build a high-performing team.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Monitor quality control plans and resolve workmanship issues to meet or exceed standards.
Implement and sustain safety programs and maintain workplace organization (5S/housekeeping).
Prioritize production schedules and adjust staffing/hours to meet customer delivery commitments.
Enforce company policies, procedures, and work standards.
Track and improve individual, team, and budget performance metrics.

Required Skills & Experience

Knowledge of manufacturing/distribution processes, tooling, quality systems, maintenance, and facilities.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles (JIT, Kanban, Demand Flow).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Working knowledge of SAP.
Cross-functional exposure across manufacturing, operations, engineering, supply chain, or warehousing.

Work Schedule

May require off-shift and weekend support (including Saturdays/Sundays as needed).
Flexibility to support operations before or after standard shift start times.

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of team leadership or supervisory experience.
2+ years in a manufacturing/production environment.
Experience with continuous improvement programs (e.g., CIPP).
Project management experience with proven results.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Education

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Supply Chain, Business, Manufacturing, or Engineering preferred.
Associate degree or high school diploma with relevant experience will also be considered.
