Quick Facts Location: 2213 Cherry Street, Toledo, OH 43608 Start Date: 07/26/2026 Duration: Multiple dates through August 2026 (including 24-hour shifts and shorter days) Shift: 24-hour shifts; some shorter observation shifts Hours/week: Varies based on schedule Employment Type: Locum/Temporary License/Certifications: Ohio medical license, Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology Experience: Prior hospitalist OB experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $19.50/hr Weekly Pay Schedule: Via direct deposit Benefits: Comprehensive Medical Benefits (W-2) Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and related expenses Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do Provide inpatient obstetric care on a Level 4 Labor & Delivery unit with 10 beds Manage high-risk and low-risk pregnancies, including routine and complicated deliveries Perform OB ultrasound interpretations and FHR monitoring (NST, CST, FSE) Assist with OB procedures such as vaginal deliveries, C-sections, breech, multiple births, and VBACs Collaborate with OB residents and nursing staff Provide gynecological procedures, including operative and office-based tasks Support a teaching environment with student and resident involvement What You Need Ohio medical license or ability to obtain one Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN Minimum 2+ years of obstetrics experience in a hospital setting Proficiency in OB ultrasound, fetal monitoring, and delivery procedures Strong teamwork and communication skills Preferred: Experience working in teaching hospitals or Level III/IV units About the Assignment Join a busy Level 4 Labor & Delivery unit at a renowned teaching facility in Toledo, Ohio, supporting OB care during a temporary staffing gap. You will work alongside OB residents, nursing staff, and midwives to deliver quality maternal and fetal health services across a diverse patient population. The facility is equipped with onsite lab and ultrasound services, ensuring comprehensive care delivery.
