Position/Specialty: Cath Lab RN

Shift: The team works 4 ten-hour shifts, Monday through Friday 6:30 am to 5 pm.

Ratio: We have a Cath Lab team consisting of 3 full time nurses, as well as a Cath Lab with a pre/post procedure area that includes 4 bays. The pre/post area is staffed by 2 registered nurses. Only 1 Cath Lab procedure room.

Weekend REQ? Occasionally perform STEMI coverage on weekends, and the travelers are expected to participate in STEMI call when scheduled during those coverage periods.

Is on-call REQ? Yes, Monday–Saturday (our callback is only for post PCI patients that need to be brought back into Cath lab)

Will this traveler float between service lines? No

Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No

Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2 years

First-timers accepted: Yes

License REQ: Yes, SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start

National Certs REQ: BLS, ACLS

Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers

Miscellaneous Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request. Dependent on unit's needs.

Local Radius: 60-mile radius rule

Locals Accepted: Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate

RTO Restrictions for Client Offers: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs

Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
