We are currently looking for a Receptionist Part Time:

Thursday 4pm-9pm

Friday 4pm-9pm

Sunday 8am-4pm

Responsibilities:

• Operate multiline telephone and paging system.

• Answer incoming calls, determine the nature of the call and route the call to the appropriate party.

• Locate personnel by using overhead paging system.

• Greets and directs all visitors to the facility, ensures that all visitors sign-in and refuse visitor’s entry to the facility if needed.

• Maintain a current file/listing of residents by name and room number, emergency phone numbers of on-call personnel, department extensions, key personnel, etc.

• Responds to inquiries regarding job openings and distributes job applications to perspective employees.

• Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, website and other related information

• Receives, sorts and forward's incoming mail. Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of mail services.

• Responsible for reporting all resident concerns and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate department head/supervisor on duty.

• Handles sensitive information regarding Residents and other facility matters with professionalism and confidentiality. 

• Works in an organized fashion and keeps lobby and workstation clean and free of hazards at all times. 

• Reports all hazardous conditions, damaged equipment and supply issues to the supervisor.

• Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, and employees.

• Attend and participate in departmental meetings and in-services as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Excellent communication skills

• Solid computer skills

• A very positive attitude with ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to read write and speak in English to the extent necessary for safe and efficient performance of the job.

• Flexibility-This position is part of a health care facility that is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Working on holidays and during inclement weather will be required as needed.
