MediCard is currently looking for assertive, dynamic and energetic individuals to fill up the following vacancy: Responsible in performing laboratory tests/procedures and encodes them correctly and accordingly. Delivers precise and accurate as well as on-time laboratory results to the patients. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Performs blood extraction to patients as part of PME packages or as per doctor’s request. Properly checks patient’s identification, the laboratory request and the specimen sample. Issues approval to laboratory request as appropriate based on our approval guidelines prior to availment. Conducts on-site blood extraction, Drug Testing and Rapid Antibody Testing per assignment by the Supervisor. Proper and accurate encoding of laboratory results. Monitors and ensures that laboratory equipment/machines undergo preventive maintenance and calibration as scheduled. Maintains and performs regular inspection on all laboratory machines/equipment. Ensures and monitors sufficient inventory of supplies. Prepares and submits timely reports. Might assign related tasks from time to time. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: Graduate of BS Medical Technology and Medical Technologist Licensure Exam Passer. Experience: At least 6 months work experience in the same capacity.
