Certified Sterile Processing TechnicianThis is a 13-week contract position.Must be able to work 8-hour rotating shifts, including consecutive weekends as needed. Total hours per week: 40.As a Certified Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of surgical and medical instruments. You will be responsible for the sterilization, maintenance, and organization of sterile supplies and equipment in a healthcare setting.Responsibilities:Process and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to established protocols.Maintain accurate records regarding sterilization processes and inventory control.Inspect, clean, and test instruments for proper function before sterilization.Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to meet patient needs.Adhere to safety and infection control standards.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:Must be a Certified Sterile Processing Technician prior to start of contract.Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.Holiday Policy:Holiday pay will only be applicable if the shift begins on the holiday.
