Diesel Mechanic — Service Writer Technician

What You’ ll Do:

• Transform brand‑new vehicles into fully equipped emergency units
• Install and integrate truck bodies, wire harnesses, controllers, partitions, auxiliary batteries, light bars, push bumpers, power supplies, component trays, consoles, HVAC connections, and electrical systems
• Perform routine maintenance and diagnostics on company and customer vehicles— including diesel platforms
• Schedule and manage customer service needs with professionalism and accuracy
• Work independently while maintaining detailed records, identifying efficiencies, and contributing ideas that move the company forward
• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on heavy-duty equipment
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace while following safety protocols

What We’ re Looking For:

• Valid Drivers license
• Proven experience with diesel systems and heavy equipment
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical know-how
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to quality and reliability
• Attention to detail

Previous experienceMechanical skills, Bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, reach above and below shoulder levels, work in, on & under vehicles to do the work. Work in small spaces, Knowledge of diagnostis equipment to find issues.
