Job Description

LIVE-IN Roommate/ Caregiver

Live with and support 2 men with developmental disabilities in their home

Must be at home Sunday-Thursday overnights 10p-9a

Responsibilities:

Build a trusting relationship with the men based on respect, empathy, and understanding
Follow individualized support plans to make sure they get what they need to be safe
Help one of the men with personal care and ambulation; the other with reminders for hygiene
Help with the morning routine, healthy meals, and cleaning

Qualifications:

Ability to work independently
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassion, patience, and understanding of individuals with diverse needs
