JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in Gastroenterology
• Licenses: Active MI License and CSR
• DEA: Active DEA (verbal confirmation required)
• Certifications: ACLS
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years post-fellowship
• Other Qualifications: Clean background, COVID vaccine, local candidates preferred

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide gastroenterology consultations for inpatients and outpatients.
• Perform endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy) in the endoscopy suite.
• Manage weekend call coverage (24-hour call on Saturdays/Sundays).
• Collaborate with support staff (APPs, physicians) and consult with other specialties.
• Document patient encounters and procedures in Cerner EMR.
