Contract | Rotating Days and Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30 or 19:00–7:30) | Every Other Weekend | Some Holidays | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Operate and monitor the NextStage CVVH machine as part of patient treatment plans
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and interpret telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient care demands
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-acuity cardiovascular nursing care

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license required
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the CVICU specialty
• CVICU clinical experience required
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the NextStage CVVH machine required
• Basic Arrhythmia experience required; must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher, with 100% identification of lethal rhythms)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery setting
• Experience in an Acuity Adaptable care area
