R&D Lab TechnicianPeopleShare has an opening for an R&D Lab Technician in Moorestown, NJ. Previous experience within an R&D lab setting required.Location: Moorestown, NJ 08057Duration: 4 month contract-to-hireSchedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PMPay: $24-26/hrResponsibilities:Developing prototypes in the lab settingIncluding but not limited to new technology development, cost reduction, product improvement, matching.Tasting and critiquing new developmentsTasting and critiquing finished goods in conjunction with quality control for finished product releaseProvide product recommendations from DVFI product catalogue to sales for customer needsCompounding samples for customer sample requests as neededAssist operations and production with plant trials on production equipmentRecording formulas and process data as a result of formulation changes, new formulas and processesAssist quality department as needed for customer complaint investigationsMaintaining general cleanliness and organization of the lab, lab equipment, and work areaComplete post operational checklists for cleanlinessCommunicating with multiple departments for new ingredient needs, setup, approval and complianceBasic testing such as pH measurementsCalculating product characteristics throughout the R&D process to maintain compliance to the specificationRequirements:Previous experience in an R&D lab setting or similar college coursework.Understanding of basic computer skills (Office Suite)Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team memberHighly organizedAbility to prioritize and multitaskMust be able to stand for long periodsMust be able to lift 25 lbs without assistanceTravel may be required to assist with customer demos, and trade showsBasic Math skills
