BIM Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented candidate to support our project teams by assisting with creating accurate and well-organized construction documents. This position provides opportunities to work on a variety of projects such as healthcare, commercial offices, museums and more. Job Duties and Responsibilities Project startup and creating 3D models for a wide variety of building types utilizing primarily Autodesk Revit Assist engineers with creating structural engineering construction documents Annotate plan drawings, draw details and adjust models based on updates from engineers Apply company CAD standards, practices and procedures in creating and modifying drawings Collaborate with engineers and BIM staff in a team environment Assist with maintaining Revit libraries as well as build upon the current family library Required Qualifications Associates degree in Engineering Technology, Computer Aided Drafting Certificate, or equivalent Experience using Autodesk Revit 2020+ Knowledge of architectural and engineering drawings is a must Understanding of construction processes, and familiar with various building types, such as commercial, multi-family residential, and custom homes Strong visualization skills, attention to detail, and quality focused Ability to interpret written, verbal and visual direction Ability to work and communicate effectively in collaborative team settings Bonus Qualifications 2+ years of experience with Revit drafting and modeling Experience in the building industry, specifically structural engineering Experience with Autodesk Forma or Dynamo Annual Salary: $27-34/hour Bonuses are awarded at discretion, not guaranteed.
