Warehouse Worker I Na

The warehouse worker I reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and under close supervision has primary responsibility for maintaining the warehousing, to receive and storing all goods in an appropriate manner and shipping finished goods, ensuring that levels of safety, quality and housekeeping are in place.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Following all work instructions and safety rules
• Carrying out internal transfers of products, considering the FIFO methodology
• Taking samples for analysis in the Quality Control Laboratory
• Storing items according to established procedures and rotating stock appropriately
• Notifying the supervisor of any non-conforming products received
• Unloading and loading trucks/containers/road tanker
• Checking the good condition of trucks/containers/road tanker
• Preparing orders accurately and timely
• Keeping all paperwork up to date
• Keeping the working area clean
• Maintaining all equipment used in the warehouse activities
• Communicating and cooperating with supervisor, coworkers and other departments involved in all warehouse activities
• Carrying out any other duties requested by the Supervisor

Minimum requirements include:

• High school degree
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under limited supervision
• Ability to learn and use MS Office applications and PRISM or ERP environment

Preferred requirements include:

• 1 year experience in a similar environment and position
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures

Physical environment includes:

• Required to stand, walk, and climb stairs
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg
• Bending and lifting

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
