Industrial Electrician

URGENTLY HIRING HIGH VOLTAGE ELECTRICIANS FOR A LEADING AEROSPACE COMPANY!

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repairs and preventative maintenance on site equipment and electrical systems to minimize downtime and maintain safe operations.

• Locate and repair electrical failures and malfunctions on equipment such as heaters, elements, fuses, lights, contacts, and related components.

• Repair and install electrical systems and equipment including motors, transformers, wiring, alarm systems, automatic control systems, and industrial controllers.

• Rebuild motors, including replacing bearings and servicing armatures, to restore proper functionality.

• Understand and apply electrical schematics and blueprints to troubleshoot electrical systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and associated automated systems.

• Work with robotic controllers, pneumatic and hydraulic modules, and electromechanical sensing devices as part of automated system maintenance and repair.

• Perform new electrical installations based on schematics and blueprints, including pulling wire, bending conduit, and completing electrical wiring and terminations.

• Install, wire, and troubleshoot PLCs and variable frequency drives (VFDs) as part of industrial automation systems.

• Assist in training less experienced electrical personnel by sharing knowledge of troubleshooting techniques, safety practices, and equipment operation.

• Communicate effectively with equipment operators to explain programs, system status, and required actions to ensure proper equipment use.

• Maintain frequent internal contact with manufacturing teams to coordinate work, and external contact with contractors and suppliers as needed for projects and repairs.

• Properly complete and adhere to all safety procedures and training requirements established for maintenance personnel.

• Perform all duties of an “A” Electrician when necessary to support operations and maintenance needs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $73840.00 - $73840.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Details of these plans will be sent to you separately upon hire or completion of probationary period if applicable. 401k Plan: The Company offers a tax qualified 401(k) savings plan to help you save toward retirement. Details will be sent to you separately and are subject to plan terms and conditions. Current company contributions are: • 3% of your eligible compensation regardless of whether you contribute to the plan, and • 100% of your deferred pre-tax savings up to 6% of your base pay. Vacation: • You will be eligible for 10 days of paid vacation per year, accrues as per policy (prorated based on your hire date) in accordance with the Company’s Vacation Policy, in addition to Company recognized holidays.
