The Route 53 services are powered by purpose-built software developed from the grounds-up at Amazon to meet the unique functionality, unprecedented scale and high availability requirements that our customers demand. The services already support some of the largest workloads in the world, and we are constantly scaling and improving it to keep up with our ongoing rapid growth. Route 53 is not just foundational for AWS services and AWS customers but is also a significant, standalone revenue generating business within AWS.The Route 53 team is seeking a talented, self-directed Senior Product Manager to drive key areas of our strategy and vision for Route 53. In this role, you will define, execute, and deliver a product roadmap that adds great value to our internal and external customers. This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with customers (direct interactions), the engineering team, solution architects, design, sales, finance and executive teams. You will advocate for our customers and help us build the future of DNS services including Private and Public DNS. In this role, you will come up with your own long term vision that includes future roadmap for existing revenue generating products, writing working backwards documents for new products, handle pricing, go-to-market and expansion activities, in other words, are responsible for the entire product lifecycle for some critical AWS products.In this role, you will join a diverse team of Product Managers, UX designers, solution architects, software, hardware, and network engineers. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
