TeamHealth is seeking a compassionate and quality-driven physician to join our inpatient rehabilitation care team in Bradenton, Florida. This is a full-time opportunity (5 days/week) rounding and providing medical directorship in an inpatient rehabilitation facility with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential. Compensation is fee for service with an estimated compensation range of $316,877 to $355,052 annually and no cap on productivity income potential. Medical directorship roles also include monthly stipends.\n

\nOur comprehensive clinical and operational leadership team will support your transition into our medical practice with a comprehensive 3-month onboarding program along with a dedicated clinical field mentor and support from industry leading clinical experts in post-acute medicine. \nModules in our Medical Director Leadership Academy (MDLA) will position you for success in quality improvement initiatives, and collaboration with the facility leadership as a valued partner of the team. This educational program is best-in-class and not provided by any other organizations practicing post-acute medicine.\n

Key Responsibilities \n

\n
• Conduct comprehensive inpatient medical assessments, including history, physical exams, and review of rehabilitation goals
\n
• Manage acute and chronic medical conditions in coordination with the rehabilitation plan
\n
• Monitor functional progress and adjust treatment plans to support recovery goals
\n
• Collaborate with rehabilitation physicians, nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members
\n
• Provide medical education to patients and families related to recovery, comorbidities, and prevention
\n
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations
\n

• Current physician license (State of Florida) and DEA
\n
• Experience in post-acute or acute clinic settings preferred, but not required; new grads welcome to apply
\n
• Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
\n
