Quality Inspector I

Quality Inspector IKelly Science and Clinical FSP is currently seeking a Quality Inspector I for a long-term engagement with one of our Global Medical Device clients in Bridgewater, MA. This position is 1st shift.This person will join our Kelly FSP (Functional Service Provider) division, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc. You may also be eligible for paid time off, including holiday, vacation, and sick/personal time.The Quality Inspector will perform inspections of machined components, assemblies and castings to support receiving inspection, validations, and process improvement activities. Will perform open set-up inspections utilizing a variety of inspection equipment and visual standards. Support Raynham Operator Certification initiatives throughout the facility. Mechanical inspection will be performed. The Quality Technician will utilize GD&T and blue print reading skills daily.Qualifications Required:A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent required.Manufacturing background is required.0-2 years of inspection experience in a precision machining and/or casting environment.Excellent written, oral communication, organization and computer skillsPreferred skills:Medical Device inspection experience.Blue print interpretation skills and a working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) applicationsWorking knowledge of various applications of shop mathematicsASQ CertificationOptical Comparators experienceCMM operating experience is a plus
