Advanced Nuclear Senior Project ManagerThe Advanced Nuclear Senior Project Manager will have a focus on deployment and execution projects in support of GE Vernova's small modular reactors (SMR). This role will report to the Project Management Director, while supporting the respective Project Director in planning and executing contracts for the design and construction of the SMRs around the world.Roles and ResponsibilitiesOn-time project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resourcesMaintain Project Risk Register to communicate and mitigate overall project risk levelParticipate in customer, internal, and/or supplier project kickoff meetings and support the Project Director with preparation & coordination of customer, internal, and/or supplier kickoff meetingsAssist Project Director in organizing project cost structure in Oracle ERPDevelop and maintain a project roster including assigning and monitoring timely completion of project related training activitiesDevelop and issue the Project Work Plan and related project plans and project procedures; facilitate the implementation of project plans and project procedures across the larger project teamProject administration and configuration management of project documentation to assist the Project DirectorEnsure compliance with U. S. export control and other requirements as applicableSupport the development and deployment of project infrastructure and project toolsSupport coordination of project activities; monitor and control progress on project deliverablesOrganize and archive project correspondence and records consistent with Project Configuration Management PlanEnsure the conformance of project deliverables with contract and project requirementsLead, draft, and issue project management meeting notes, action item lists, and project progress reportsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited university or collegeMinimum 5 years of experience in Project ManagementMinimum 3 years managing medium- to large-scale projects (with multi-disciplinary team and project).Eligibility RequirementsDomestic and International travel up to 25%The preferred work location for this role is at GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy (GVH) Headquarters in Wilmington, NC but highly qualified U.S. remote eligible candidates will be considered.This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information, if applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. government.Desired CharacteristicsPMP CertificationNuclear power industry experience in operations or engineeringFamiliarity with nuclear construction practices and Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) designExperience with commercial negotiationsDemonstrated ability to anticipate and solve complex problemsAbility to influence stakeholders and build trust with customers, managers, and team membersAbility to distill complex information and focus on critical prioritiesAbility to make decisions with speed and accuracy, based on best available informationExperience working in a matrixed environmentWell-developed planning and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to lead programs / projectsThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
