Maintenance Technician, Weekend
This role ensures the safe, efficient operation of production machinery through consistent adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards, while actively maintaining and improving preventative maintenance programs. Additionally, the role involves guiding Level I Maintenance Technicians, supporting production processes, and keeping detailed maintenance records to contribute to overall plant performance.

- Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing of production floor machinery and equipment throughout the plant
- Sustain and improve our preventative maintenance programs and maintenance techniques on all machinery and equipment
- Assist in directing activities and provide technical direction to Level I Maintenance Technicians in repairing, testing, and troubleshooting equipment
- Production support with changeover, product set-up and start-up
- Responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance tasks using company preferred systems
- Interact with production supervision and staff to ensure the timely flow of required information
- Documentation of equipment maintenance performed
- Housekeeping and organization of the work area (5s) as needed

Supervisory responsibility: No
- 3-5 years of previous maintenance experience required
- Previous experience or exposure with controls, electrical, mechanical, and/or tooling maintenance preferred
- Previous experience with PLCs preferred
- Previous experience with vision systems (like quality inspection, robotics, or automation) preferred, or willingness to learn
- Willingness to complete company-provided controls, electrical, mechanical, and/or tooling training
- A High School diploma or GED
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP preferred
Indoor production environment, adequate lighting and comfortable temperatures, some work outside may be required, Occasional exposure to moderate noise and machinery with mechanical moving parts. Ability to work 24/7 schedule and be available as business situations required, overtime dependent on business need.
- Frequent repetitive hand movements, using hand tools pliers, sanders, scissors, etc
- Frequently remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
- Frequently move about the facility indoors as well as outdoors to make repairs, etc
- Constantly positions self to repair/build equipment and/or facility
- Frequently ascends/descends a ladder to service equipment and/or complete a building repair
- Must be able to detect equipment issues and assess for repairs
- Regularly move tools and equipment up to >25 lbs.
