Clinical Laboratory Technologist-PRN

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist for PRN work at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The role involves performing laboratory testing procedures, operating instrumentation, and reporting accurate test results to support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess specimen acceptability according to established quality criteria
• Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures following departmental protocols
• Monitor, operate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to maintain functionality
• Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents and quality control materials
• Execute preventive maintenance and quality control documentation procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology
• One or more years of clinical laboratory testing experience or MLS degree
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred
• Familiarity with laboratory information systems
• Proficiency with computers and strong attention to detail
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Ability to work independently and within team environments
