Nurse Aide

Description Job Title: Nurse Aide Job Summary: The Nurse Aide will be responsible for providing basic care to patients, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring their comfort and safety. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping others. Responsibilities: Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff Help patients with mobility and transfer to and from beds, chairs, and wheelchairs Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients Provide emotional support and companionship to patients Document patient care activities and report any concerns to the nursing staff Requirements Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well in a team environment Ability to utilize Microsoft products at an intermediate level Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care Ability to lift and move patients as needed Physical and Sensory Requirements: Considerable physical activity: Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to fifty (50) or more pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job. Push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds to a minimum height of three (3) feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of fifty (50) feet. Standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day. Bending and/or stooping for more than one (1) hour at a time.
