Our motto at Taylor Robinson Music is “Learn to Play From the Heart.” We are looking for private piano instructors who share this philosophy and can provide lessons in students' homes, in your own home or studio, or via webcam. While most students prefer in‑person lessons, a small portion use webcam. You will be hired on an independent contractor basis and paid $20–$30 per hour based on experience, education, travel time, and student retention. You have full flexibility to set your own schedule, curriculum, and lesson plans. Marketing, advertising, SEO and billing are handled by the company, allowing you to focus on teaching. We need local instructors willing to travel to students in the Sunnyvale, TX area. You should be organized, punctual, and maintain good communication with our office. Formal music training is not mandatory, but you must have either a degree in music, be enrolled in a music program, have professional performing experience, or possess prior teaching experience. COVID‑19 precautions: you must wear a mask, sanitize your hands, and practice social distancing when applicable. Qualifications Experience teaching piano or willingness to learn the instrument. Ability to host lessons in students’ homes, your own space, or via webcam. Independent contractor status with flexibility to schedule lessons. Strong communication and punctuality. Local to Sunnyvale, TX or willingness to travel in the area. Background in music: degree, program enrollment, professional performance, or prior teaching.
