Responsibilites include but are not limited to:

• Fabricate equipment accurately, using proper procedures in a timely manner
• Knowledge of hand-tools
• Ability to accurately read tape measure
• Operate overhead crane and/or forklift
• Physically capable of wearing required PPE (protective safety glasses, ear plugs, head gear & gloves)
• Must be able to stand, squat, bend and work comfortably at different heights
• Inspect and conduct proper and safe operation of shop equipment
• Will play an active role in identifying and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) opportunity
• Ability to travel when required
• Work on stainless steel fabrication, including but not limited to:
• Cutting tube
• Operating hand-grinders
• Polishing
• Bending
• Assembly
• Electro-polished frame
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• 2 years of previous Fabrication experience preferred but not required
• Ability to perform simple math equations
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and perform heavy manual labor if needed
• Problem solving and communication skills
• Prior Lean/Six Sigma experience is a plus
