Job Title: Credit Analyst Status: Full Time, Non-exempt Reports: Manager of Credit & Collections Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Work Location: Corporate Office - Greensboro, NC Employment at Will: Nothing herein is intended to create a contract of employment or to guarantee employment for a definite duration. DutiesandResponsibilities : Monitor customer accounts daily. Communicate with customers that have balances in excess of 45 days. Monitor closely all lien and bond deadlines and ensure actions are taken in a timely manner to preserve those rights. RecordallcollectionsactivityinERPsystem. Processcreditapplicationsandestablishcreditlimits.Adjustcreditlimitsasneededto account for customer payment trends and contract commitments. Addresscustomerrequestsforinformationinatimelymanner. Partnerandinteractwithotherdepartmentsasneededtoresolvecustomerdisputes. Communicatewithsalesstaffweeklyonproblemaccountsthatarenotrespondingto payment requests. Monitorsthecashapplicationprocesstoensureaccurateandtimelypostings. Performaccountreconciliationstoclearupbillingdiscrepancies. RecommendsaccountstobeplacedonholdorturnedovertocollectiontoCredit Manager.Coordinates efforts of attorneys where needed. Compileanddistributecollectionreportstosalesstaffonaweeklybasis. Reviewandapprovetaxexemptionstatusofaccountsandmaintaindocumentationto support. Trackandresolvecustomerserviceissuesrelatingtocollectionwithsalespersonnel. Filerequirednoticesonconstructionprojectsasrecommendedbylegalcounseltoreduce exposure to uncollectable accounts. Coordinatetheprocessingofcustomerstatements onamonthlybasis. Specialprojectsasassigned. PositionRequirements: Bachelor’sorAssociate’sDegreepreferredoraminimumof2yearscredit/collections experience. Experienceinaconstructionenvironmentpreferred. Mustbedetailoriented,resultsdrivenandabletoembraceandadapttochange,alongwith the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere. Strongcustomerserviceskillswiththeabilitytoeffectivelycommunicatewithboth internal and external customers. Strongmathematicalandanalyticalskills. Strongcriticalthinkingandproblem-solvingskills. Abilitytoutilizetheavailabletimetoorganizeandcompleteworkwithingivendeadlines and to take constructive advantage of idle periods. Abilitytoeffectivelybuildrelationshipswithcustomersandco-workers. Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskillsandtheabilitytoworkina professional environment are necessary. KnowledgeofMSofficeamust,specificallyExcel.
