The WSIB operates in a hybrid work environment and this position should anticipate 60% of their time in the office. We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our Travel team as a Travel Program Specialist. We are looking for a customer service focused individual with a commitment to service who is keen on finding solutions to challenging situations and able to forecast client needs. This position requires someone who can adapt their approach, goals, and methods to achieve solutions and results in dynamic situations and listen attentively to clients in order to determine the best way to support them within the parameters of applicable rules, regulations, and policies. We are looking for someone who has experience with, and is open to, testing and learning new technologies that will serve to best support our clients. IF SELECTED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY, YOU WILL: Independently advise staff and other clients regarding the travel program. Define needs and plan detailed itineraries for staff, Board members, and job seekers. Research flight and accommodation information to ensure best value and compliance with rules, regulations, and policies. Support traveling clients by providing relevant information, guidance, and materials for smooth travel execution. Establish and maintain records and approvals for trips in accordance with agency practice for record retention purposes. Track and monitor workflows and assist customers using applications and systems. Prepare and maintain reports for travel related fiscal reconciliation.
