Reviews patient account records and third party payer issues. Responsibilities Responsible for identifying, analyzing and reconciling billing errors or omissions Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within Perioperative Services Work with Physician Practice patients, providers, and staff to identify problem areas. Ensures that all contacts with patients, the public, physicians and other staff are carried out in a friendly, courteous, helpful and considerate manner. Performs duties as assigned Qualifications Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience required to perform the job. Associates degree or equivalent work experience Bachelor s Degree preferred. American Heart Association BLS required Requires a minimum of two to four years of experience in the field or in a related area. Healthcare background is strongly desirable. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word and Outlook). Ability to work well with other team members and consultants in remote offices as well as independently.
