Housekeeper (Full Time Position) The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean environment on all residential units, the learning center, the multi‑purpose building and the administrative offices. Essential Job Duties Cleans residential rooms and baths ensuring all patient areas are disinfected and meet property standards Handles linens and personal clothing items in accordance with appropriate Infection Control Policies Disposes of trash daily Vacuum all carpets daily and upholstery as needed Demonstrates Service Excellence with internal & external customers Washes windows inside and outside of facilities Completes detail cleaning daily Is knowledgeable of and complies with the Quality Improvement Monitor of the department Follows Hazardous Materials procedure for infectious diseases Attends and participates in all departmental meetings Qualifications Education: High School education or GED preferred. Years of experience needed: Minimum one (1) year in a healthcare environment preferred License/Certification: N/A Skills: Must be able to operate mechanical equipment used in the laundry and housekeeping department. Must be able to read, write and follow instructions.
