Facilities Technician II

Empath Health is seeking a Facilities Technician II responsible for performing routine repair work and maintaining designated buildings and grounds. Performs skills tradesmen construction and renovation work as assigned. Location: Sarasota

Schedule: Per diem (PRN) - position is as needed, PTO coverage, special projects (no set schedule)

What you'll do

• Diagnose problems and/or repair equipment
• Analyze and assess situations and make recommendations for cost-effective solutions
• Assemble and install equipment, working knowledge of the trades including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and building construction methods
• Ensure equipment and fixtures are in good working condition
• Travel to Empath sites, a company vehicle is provided

What you'll need

• 2-3 years maintenance experience
• General knowledge of and experience in general maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, painting, wall repair, equipment and shelving installation, and grounds maintenance
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must provide proof of valid automobile insurance and Drivers License
• Strong customer service skills and communication skills
