Competitive Wages and Benefits: Health/Dental/Vision/Prescription Company paid life and disability insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Vacation Tuition Reimbursement Advancement Opportunities Responsibilities Technical Services Quality Assurance Supervisor for 2nd Shift responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervising Technical Services (Quality Assurance) Technicians, ensuring completeness of job duties Implementing the training of Technical Services (QA) Technicians, cross-training activities and development of entirely new functions Motivating Technical Services (QA) Technicians to ensure that they are executing the functions that they have been assigned in a way that is consistent with training and overall function requirements Executing the daily schedule of supervising in alignment with the department and company priorities to ensure that Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and overall margin enhancement are enhanced by the daily activities. This includes determining the scheduling of Technical Services (QA) Technician's start time, activities while at the job, and finish time. Ensuring that employees are following time and attendance requirement, time clock requirements, recording, documenting, and communicating all activities associated with scheduling Documenting and communicating Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and other issues to Technical Services management and operations management within the plant Working in the Technical Services chain of command, while directly reporting to the Technical Services (QA) Manager Other duties as assigned This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position. Qualifications Qualified candidates for the Technical Services (Quality Assurance) Supervisor position should possess the following: High School Diploma or equivalent education Exhibited good attendance and work ethics in past jobs Good verbal and written communication skills (English - USDA Requirements are in English) Ability to work well with others as the job has inherent conflict and confrontational aspects Proficiency in using spreadsheets and word processors Ability to lead and motivate subordinates to perform the required activities Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check.
