Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA, is seeking a dedicated Anesthesiologist to join their patient-focused care team. This role offers a potential leadership opportunity within a voluntary nonprofit short-term acute care hospital that is part of the Riverside Health system. The position provides a unique 1 week on, 1 week off schedule, allowing for 26 weeks off per year. Practice Info * Dedicated, patient-focused care team * Voluntary nonprofit short-term acute care hospital with 52 Medicare-certified beds * Provides a full array of services and care to all patients * Part of the Riverside Health system * Case assignments include Ophthalmology, G.I., orthopedics, urology, podiatry, general surgery, OB and occasional healthy peds Responsibilities * Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures * Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent * Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients * Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia * Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed * Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership Compensation * Salary: $575K * Sign-on incentive package: Up to $100K * $575K base salary and up to $100K in incentives for an experienced Anesthesiologist Benefits * Health, life, vision, dental, disability, and AD&D insurance * Generous paid time off * Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts * 401(k) & Profit Sharing * Fully paid malpractice insurance coverage * Loan repayment & training assistance available Shift & Schedule * 1 week on, 1 week off schedule * 26 weeks off per year Requirements * MD or DO from an accredited institution * Completion of Anesthesiology Residency * Board Eligible or Board Certified * Current medical licensure * ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
