Principal Data Scientist

Salary: $120,000 - 160,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in analytical roles.
• Experience with data wrangling and programming to access, transform, and prepare large-scale data for statistical modeling.
• Experience applying statistical and machine learning methods.
• An undergraduate degree in Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related analytical field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
• We are not offering visa sponsorship for this position.

• Lead large-scale, complex analytics projects and assess the quality and risks of models, methodologies, outputs, and processes.
• Conduct diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to inform business decisions; develop alternative modeling approaches and advance analytical capabilities.
• Mentor and develop junior data scientists and analysts.
• Identify and investigate data inconsistencies and errors, document assumptions, and address data gaps.
• Work with senior leaders to understand business processes, develop hypotheses, structure requests, and translate requirements into analytical approaches.
• Guide test and research design, validate models, and provide statistical consultation.
• Serve as the analytics expert on cross-functional teams supporting major strategic initiatives and contribute to our analytics community.
• Present insights and recommendations, explaining complex analytical findings and their implications to business leaders.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
