About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP of Engineering for the Payer Market. This senior technology leader will be responsible for driving the technology vision, strategy, and architecture for a global organization. The role involves leading the engineering execution in areas such as payment integrity, risk and quality, claims administration, and payer operations technology. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of AI/ML and agentic transformation, with a focus on operationalizing AI capabilities and establishing AI cost governance. Security is a top priority, and the VP will champion security initiatives and ensure engineering standards are in line with best practices. Candidates for this role at The Company should have a minimum of 15 years of technology experience, with at least 5 years in senior engineering or technology leadership roles. A proven track record in building and scaling large transaction-processing platforms, as well as experience in deploying AI/ML in production environments, is essential. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud platforms, microservices architecture, DevSecOps, and application security. Experience in the healthcare domain, particularly in areas such as claims adjudication, payment integrity, and regulatory compliance, is highly preferred. The role requires a leader with excellent communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills, who can also demonstrate a strong business partnership with executives across multiple business units.
