Summary

The mission of all Tops associates is to adhere to the Tops vision of providing a friendly neighborhood store that saves the customer time and money. A Shipping Clerk works with management during the order selection shift.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Researches problem locations in order to prevent product shortage
• Creates pallet moves to fill selection locations
• Releases created reselect assignments
• Communicates issues to supervision
• Verifies accuracy of load diagrams
• Prepares shipping documents prior to truck departure from warehouse
• Performs load close process to release the store order for shipment
• Coordinates truck departure with Dispatch
• Verifies and retains shipment records containing routing details
• Responsible for order processing claims
• All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Flexibility and willingness to work weekend is a must

Education And Experience

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions
• Possess basic computer skills
• Possess strong communication skills, organization, adaptability and problem solving
• 1-year experience in a similar capacity
