What You'll Do

• Provide gynecologic first assisting in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Assist in surgeries, including GYN oncology and robotic procedures using Da Vinci Surgical System
• Perform pelvic exams and assist with clinical procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgical teams and providers
• Manage patient care during gynecologic surgeries and postpartum care
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Contribute to a seamless patient experience across all services

What You Need

• Required:
  • Active WA or IMLC license
  • DEA registration
  • Experience in gynecology, surgical assisting, and pelvic exams
  • Experience with robotic surgeries (Da Vinci system) preferred
• Preferred:
  • RN First Assisting Certification (RNFA)
  • Experience with gynecologic oncology

About the Assignment This position involves supporting gynecologic surgeries and clinical procedures in a busy hospital setting, with a focus on first assisting during complex gynecologic and oncology surgeries. The provider will work predominantly Monday through Wednesday at Everett initially, then transition to Swedish First Hill. The role requires expertise in gynecologic processes, robotic surgeries, and patient care, with opportunities for teaching and skill development.
