ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift, 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00), requiring availability on weekdays and every other weekend.
As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Intensive Care Unit.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor patients requiring critical care.
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
- Provide support for patients on ventilators and other complex medical devices.
- Assist with procedures such as chest tube insertion and removal.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical teams.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience is required.
- Current RN license (WV or Compact license) is required.
- Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS; CCRN preferred.
- Experience with telemetry, vents, and conscious sedation.
