This opportunity is based on a Skilled Assembler career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Job DutiesPerform bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools, and electric and pneumatic tools.Following established methods and procedures, must be able to perform, but not limited to, basic minor and major assembly operations necessary to build iTECH products; such as arranging, grouping, placing, taping, sealing, welding, and floor packaging.Be able to read/comprehend and follow manufacturing work instructions in English.Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.Experience RequirementsMinimum of six months of work experience in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Experience using hand tools, electric tools, and pneumatic tools preferred.Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience assembling mechanical, electrical, or manufactured products using hand and power tools.Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.Ability to accurately use measuring devices and maintain quality standards.Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and productivity.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, or mechanical assembly is preferred.Technical training, vocational education, or manufacturing coursework is beneficial.Experience working with pneumatic tools, torque tools, fixtures, or assembly equipment is beneficial.Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality inspection procedures, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.Individuals who demonstrate strong craftsmanship, dependability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Mechanical Assembler.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to use fine motor skills and hand dexterity to assemble small components and products.Frequent use of hands and arms to operate hand, electric, and pneumatic tools.Ability to stand or remain at a workstation for extended periods.Capable of performing repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining accuracy and productivity.Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.BenefitsCompetitive Weekly PayComprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.Life Insurance and Disability Insurance for added peace of mind.Optional 401(k) Plan to help you prepare for the future.Safety-Focused Manufacturing Environment with opportunities for advancement and skill development.Solid Start to Gain Experience.About UsAt Staffmark, we connect hardworking people with great companies, creating opportunities that make a lasting impact.
