About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an acute hospital setting, preferably in Labor and Delivery. License: Client License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP required; ERM certification preferred Must-Have: - Experience in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) and Newborn Nursery. - Experience in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care. - EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement. Description: We seek qualified Registered Nurses for Labor and Delivery. The RN will provide comprehensive care to patients in all phases of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care. RNs are expected to work independently in triage, labor, immediate vaginal recovery, postpartum, and newborn care. They will also be required to circulate and scrub during C-section cases. Rotating weekend coverage is mandatory, with every other weekend required. On-call duty is also required, as well as floating within skill set. The RN should have experience handling various obstetrical cases and procedures. All RNs are expected to administer necessary medications and perform essential medical procedures. This role involves a diverse patient population, including neonates, infants, and adults.
