Operations Specialist Hybrid

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Operations Specialist - Hybrid for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Des Moines IA or San Antonio TX. This is an 12 month contract opportunity.

This is an entry-level role focused on ensuring military service members receive the benefits they are entitled to. The position involves the intake and interpretation of complex documentation to determine eligibility across various financial products. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented able to learn quickly and comfortable navigating multiple systems in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform intake of documentation read and interpret military orders from all branches
• Extract relevant data points and check against the DOD database
• Make eligibility decisions for service members based on established rules
• Analyze various financial products held by the service member noting account opening dates
• Navigate multiple internal systems to gather necessary information

Requirements:

• Ability to learn complex processes quickly
• Strong attention to detail
• Flexibility to move between different screens and documents to find specific data points
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Open and willing to be coached and receive feedback
• Willingness to learn and use new tools like Copilot
• This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office and 2 days at home

Desired skills:

• Prior banking experience
• Experience as a veteran or with reading military orders

Pay range: $27.00 per hour
