General Psychiatry with a Strong Emphasis on Addiction
Location: Downtown Chicago
Position Overview:
- Full-Time | Employed Role - W2
- Inpatient Environment
- Focus on General Psychiatry with a Strong Addiction Component
- Manage a caseload of older adolescents and adults with dual diagnoses, primarily psychiatric disorders accompanied by significant substance abuse challenges
- Utilization of Electronic Health Records
- No weekend rounds; on-call rotation with the team Monday to Friday (1:8)
- Opportunity to take on the role of Associate Director of Addictions, if interested

Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in General or Child/Adolescent Psychiatry
- Possession of an Illinois Medical License or the ability to obtain one
About Our Facility:
Our organization operates a leading for-profit psychiatric hospital in Illinois, serving as a key facility within a two-hospital system located in downtown Chicago. The Behavioral Health System features 168 beds, with plans for expansion to 208, offering acute care and crisis stabilization services for children as young as three years old through to older adults, across eight distinct inpatient programs.
