Behavioral Health Dispatch Specialist

To support crisis line services, the part-time hourly Behavioral Health Dispatch Specialist will manage dispatch functions, facilitate the timely dispatch of mobile crisis teams, and assist in answering incoming crisis requests while working remotely. Key responsibilities Receives and dispatches teams/clinicians effectively, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation of all interactions Adheres to call center policies and participates in training to enhance knowledge of behavioral health systems and crisis intervention Assists other Contact Center staff by screening incoming crisis requests and coordinating care to resolve crisis situations Required qualifications 1-2 years of experience in dispatch, contact center, or emergency services preferred GED or High School diploma required; must meet behavioral health work experience requirements Knowledge of community resources and behavioral health services Ability to operate multiple computer systems simultaneously Effective documentation skills in accordance with policies and procedures
