Southeastern Reg Vocational Technical School District | Eastern Technical Institute – Easton, Massachusetts (Open in Google Maps) Starting Date: Immediately Full-Time Dental Assisting Teacher Job Description POSITION DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Assisting Instructor to support students in our Chapter 74, CODA‑accredited Dental Assisting program. The ideal candidate will bring clinical experience, strong teaching skills, and a commitment to preparing students for success in the dental field. Performance Responsibilities Teach dental assisting theory and clinical skills in accordance with CODA standards and Chapter 74 regulations. Deliver engaging instruction in other core topics. Supervise students during clinical and lab activities, including externship placements. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and competencies. Participate in curriculum development, program review, and accreditation processes. Foster a supportive, professional learning environment that reflects current industry standards. Qualifications Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) with active DANB certification or RDH. Minimum 3 years of clinical dental experience. Teaching or supervisory experience preferred. Bachelor’s degree or working toward. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Licensure Requirements MA Chapter 74 Vocational Technical Education Teacher License in Dental Assisting or willingness to pursue licensure upon hire. Job Requirements At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred. Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
