Weekly pay: $2,057 – $2,192 per week
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts
Setting: Hospital travel - temporary assignment

- Med Surg Rehab travel assignment with potential unit float within scope

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on a medical-surgical rehab unit, including assessment, monitoring, and administration of medications
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case management, and families to develop and implement the plan of care
- Document care and patient progress in the Cerner EMR; ensure accurate and timely communication of changes in condition
- Support patient and family education and participate in discharge planning and patient teaching
- Act as a resource for junior staff and float to other units as needed within scope of practice; may serve as backup Charge Nurse when assigned
- Maintain safe, high-quality care and adherence to professional standards and hospital policies

Requirements
- Active Vermont RN license (or eligibility for VT licensure)
- 2+ years of recent Med Surg Rehab experience
- Charge Nurse experience required
- Willingness to float to other units within scope of practice
- Previous travel experience (at least 3 months)
- BSN strongly preferred
- Cerner EMR experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications active
- Must have own vehicle; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
- RTO requests must be included in profile; no more than 5 days of time off will be approved; all scheduling requests must be submitted at time of application
