This role leads cross-functional teams, manages risk, and applies deep technical and project management expertise to safeguard enterprise assets and advance strategic goals. The manager collaborates across departments and with external partners, leveraging strong communication and analytical skills to solve security challenges and deliver impactful results. What You’ll Work On: Lead and manage cybersecurity projects from initiation through closure, ensuring delivery of mission-critical solutions on-time and within scope. Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success and foster collaboration across the enterprise. Apply deep expertise in cybersecurity and project management principles to assess risks, develop mitigation strategies, and address complex security challenges. Oversee project planning, execution, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client requirements. Communicate technical concepts and project status clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, promoting transparency and understanding. Ensure compliance with security protocols, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. You Have 8+ years of experience in information security 8+ years of experience managing IT or cybersecurity projects, including planning, execution, and closing projects Experience with cybersecurity or IT security protocols, risk assessment, and threat management Experience leading teams and coordinating across departments Knowledge of cybersecurity and project management principles Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners Top Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, or Cybersecurity Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Security Project Manager (CSPM) Certification Nice If You Have Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills Possession of strong analytical and problem-solving skills, to address security incidents, vulnerabilities, and complex cybersecurity program challenges TS/SCI clearance Master’s degree in a related field Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
