This role ensures products meet customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards while driving operational excellence through robust testing, defect prevention, and process discipline.The position provides leadership across Quality Assurance and Test Engineering functions, aligning efforts to improve first-pass yield, reduce escapes, and enhance overall factory performance.Job DescriptionLead the factory Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal requirementsOwn key quality metrics (e.g., CEPPM, COPQ, FPY) and drive corrective action rigor across functionsSupport audits (internal and external) and drive closure of findingsLead root cause analysis (RCA), 8D investigations, and systemic corrective actionsPartner with Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering to improve end-to-end product qualityOwn manufacturing test strategy, including development, validation, and optimization of test processesEnsure availability, capability, and uptime of all test equipment and systemsOversee implementation of engineering changes (ECOs) and ensure test coverage aligns with product updatesDrive improvement in test efficiency, cycle time, and coverage to prevent escapesLead development of test specifications, fixtures, and automation solutionsLead and develop a cross-functional team (Quality Engineers, Test Engineers, Inspectors, Technicians)Set clear performance expectations and align team objectives with factory goalsBuild technical capability in test systems, quality methods, and problem-solvingFoster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvementDrive talent development, succession planning, and high-performance behaviorsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of experience in Quality EngineeringORMaster’s Degree with 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering 3+ years of experience in people managementPreferred QualificationsLean or Six Sigma CertificationsSkilled in Root Cause Analysis (8D/ DMAIC)Strong knowledge of ISO9001Experience with PPAP Strong leadership and team development skillsCross functional experienceProficient in Microsoft Suite ApplicationsExperienced with automated test systems and test software platforms Pay RangeThe annual salary for this position is between $117,500.00 - $234,500.00 annually.
