Tax Supervisor / Manager

Tax Manager | Future Equity Partner | Farmington, CT (Onsite)
Gpac is partnering with a well-respected local CPA firm in Farmington, CT seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their team and move into an equity partnership within two years as a senior partner transitions toward retirement.
This is a tight-knit firm that serves closely held businesses, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals. They pride themselves on a collaborative, no-drama culture; everyone contributes, and everyone is treated fairly.
What You'll Do:
- Manage client engagements for business, partnership, and individual tax compliance & planning
- Review complex returns and provide advisory guidance
- Assist clients with financial statement preparation and related support
- Lead and mentor staff in a hands-on, team-oriented environment
- Help drive firm growth and operations with a path to equity
What You'll Bring:
- CPA required (or nearly complete)
- M.S. in Taxation preferred
- 15+ years of public accounting experience
- Comfortable with a consistent tax season workload (~55 hrs/wk)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
