Schedule/Hours

• Monday-Friday: 2 days (6:45 a.m. - 7:15 p.m.), 2 days (10:45 a.m. - 7:15 p.m.)
• 13-week assignment

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an ORT (Operating Room Technician/Surgical Tech)
• Recent surgical experience in both Neuro and Thoracic specialties
• AHA BLS certification (current)
• Proficiency with Cerner charting
• Not open to local candidates within a 50-mile radius

Responsibilities

• Support surgical procedures in a high-volume environment (28-55 cases/day)
• Prepare, maintain, and manage surgical instruments in the main surgical unit
• Support service lines including orthopedics, neurology, thoracic, urology, and general surgery
• Operate with advanced robotics (DaVinci XI) for precise surgical assistance
• Ensure proper infection control and regulatory compliance
