Respiratory Therapist - NICU Experience Required

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

Join a team dedicated to high-quality, compassionate care in a full-service hospital environment. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will utilize your NICU experience to provide exceptional patient care, ensuring the best treatment outcomes for families in our community.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy procedures, including ABGs and nebulizer treatments.
• Assist with intubation and other critical care tasks.
• Utilize Servo I ventilators and I-Stat systems as needed.
• Provide care to all age ranges of patients.
• Work collaboratively with medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Two or more years of hospital experience required.
• Must have ICU and NICU experience.
• Ability to draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) is essential.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required.
