About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Litigator to join our dynamic legal team in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex cases from inception through resolution. Location Houston, TX 77002 Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of civil litigation cases, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trials, and appeals. Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as complaints, answers, motions, and briefs. Advise clients on legal rights and obligations related to civil disputes. Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings. Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to develop case strategies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and court procedures in Texas. Prepare and present cases effectively in court and other legal forums. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the Texas State Bar and in good standing. Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing civil litigation. Strong knowledge of Texas civil procedure and substantive law. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
