Scrub Tech - Cardiac Cath Lab | Bradenton, FL | 13 Weeks Contract

A busy outpatient surgery center in Bradenton, FL is urgently seeking an experienced Scrub Tech for the Cardiac Cath Lab. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled professional with strong cath lab experience who can work independently in a fast-paced procedural environment. Flexible scheduling options are available including per diem, part-time, or near full-time hours around 30 hours per week.

• Pay Rate: $30 to $35/hr
• Schedule Options: Per Diem, Part-Time, or Approximately 30 Hours Weekly
• Setting: Outpatient Surgery Center

Ideal Candidate

• RCIS certified preferred
• Highly cross-trained Scrub Tech with strong cardiac cath lab experience
• Must be confident scrubbing diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures using a manifold
• Experience assisting with interventional vascular procedures required
• Ability to work independently in procedural settings

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist during diagnostic cardiac cath and vascular interventional procedures
• Prepare cath lab equipment, instruments, and sterile fields
• Operate and manage manifolds during cardiac cath procedures
• Independently manage hemostasis of site access including:
  • Arterial groin access
  • Bilateral groin access
  • Venous groin access
  • Brachial access
  • Radial access
  • Pedal access
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
• Collaborate closely with physicians and procedural staff
• Ensure accurate procedure documentation and equipment handling

Requirements

• RCIS certification preferred
• Minimum recent experience in cardiac cath lab scrubbing required
• Strong understanding of cardiac cath and vascular interventional procedures
• Ability to independently manage access site hemostasis
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient procedural environment
• Strong attention to detail and patient safety standards
