Job Opportunity – Perioperative RN (Pre-Op / OR Circulator / PACU) – Colorado

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Lamar, Colorado

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM with occasional late days to complete surgical caseloads. Rotational call coverage includes weekdays, weekends (every other or every third, depending on staffing), and holidays, averaging 1–2 call days per week.

Highlights:

• Work across 3 OR suites with dedicated Pre-Op and PACU areas supporting 1 anesthesia provider
• Surgical case mix includes General, OB/GYN, Ophthalmology (cataract surgery), and Orthopedics (once to twice monthly)
• Function as a primary caregiver rotating through Pre-Op, OR Circulator, and PACU roles
• Collaborative team environment adhering to national standards through AORN, ASPAN, IAHCSMM, and ASGE
• Opportunity to utilize comprehensive perioperative nursing skills in a community-focused setting
• Exposure to diverse surgical specialties and patient populations

Requirements:

• Current Colorado RN licensure
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 3 years of combined Pre-Op, OR, and PACU experience required; must have experience in all three areas
• ACLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Scrub experience preferred
• Ability to perform effectively in highly stressful situations with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform heavy lifting
